Description

R- Kalbo-Start is a supplementary feed for newborn animals that have received little colostrum or colostrum of insufficient quality. It is important that newborn ruminants receive sufficient colostrum immediately after birth. Young animals need immunoglobulins to develop their immune system. If calves have received little colostrum or colostrum of inadequate quality, health problems are guaranteed.

Utilization rate

Administration of R- Kalbo Start to newborn animals that have received little colostrum or colostrum of inadequate quality. The dosage depends on the quality and quantity of colostrum and the prevailing bacterial pressure. Stir the powder into warm (approx. 39 ºC) colostrum, normal milk or with milk replacer and feed within the first 6 weeks of life. As a colostrum supplement: 50-100 g / animal and day As a colostrum substitute: 200 g / 2 l milk
